This Online Course allows divers to start their training now while confined to their homes. This course will start with a Spot A Shark USA Photography webinar. The Spot A Shark USA Photography dives will be scheduled at a later date.
Sand Tiger Sharks are a common sight on the wrecks of North Carolina. Although commonly seen in large numbers off the ocast of North Carolina, the Sand Tiger Shark is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. This course teaches divers about the Sand Tiger Shark and how we as divers can help Sand Tiger Shark research along the Atlantic coast.
The purpose of the PADI Spot A Shark USA Photography Distinctive Specialty Diver course is to educate divers about the Sand Tiger Shark and how in conjunction with the citizen-science program Spot A Shark USA, divers can help with Sand Tiger Shark research.
