A reality in diving is that most awe-inspiring underwater vistas reside in relatively deep water. Olympus Dive Center believes that one can best manage the risks inherent in deeper diving by taking a Deep Diving specialty course. Deep diving conducted safely allows you to increase the diversity of your diving experiences with historic shipwrecks, breathtaking wall dives, cenotes, blue holes, and unique marine life encounters.
Exploring our deeper, historic shipwrecks. It’s exhilarating!
Our PADI Deep Diver course will prepare you for the challenges of deep diving. Although not a Technical Diving Course, the safety procedures and techniques will increase your comfort zone to the maximum recreational diving limit of 130 feet. Risk management, narcosis awareness, gas consumption, gear configuration, redundancy, task loading and emergency procedures are covered in great detail and stressed throughout the course.

Many shipwrecks are often found in deeper water. That’s why the PADI Deep Diver course is a natural companion to the Wreck Diver course. Nitrox usage during the Deep Diver course is required. A Nitrox diver course can be taught in conjunction with Deep Diver.
