PADI REACTIVATE Reactivate your diving

The PADI ReActivate with OLYMPUS DIVE CENTER

Haven’t been scuba diving lately and need a refresher? The ReActivate™ program is the perfect way to brush up on your knowledge and skills from the PADI Open Water Diver Course before jumping back into the water. Whether you want a few reminders or need to go over the basics, ReActivate is personalized for you.

The Fun Part

Brush up on your scuba knowledge and skills. Improve your diving ability, and get your scuba gear ready for your next scuba vacation or diving holiday. This course will also help you learn more about diving the shipwrecks in North Carolina.

What you Learn

If you are a PADI certified diver and choose the e-learning option, you can conveniently review scuba concepts on your tablet, mobile device or computer, then go diving with a PADI Professional. It’s quick, easy and a good way to prepare for your next PADI course or get ready for a diving vacation. The best part is divers who complete both the knowledge and in-water skill refresher receive a replacement certification card with a ReActivated date on it.

In the water our PADI Professionals will customize the skill review based on what you wish to focus on. For example, if you wish to ReActivate your Wreck diving skills, our instructors will review using a reel and light to penetrate a shipwreck. We will help you regain comfort and confidence with basic scuba or in a specific area like Rescue skills or planning a deep dive. You’ll practice a few safety-related skills and then go over anything you specifically want to review.

The Scuba Gear You Use

You’ll use basic scuba gear including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, dive computer, BCD and a scuba tank. This may also be a good time to try a new piece of gear or take an Equipment specialty course and learn about how gear functions. The exposure protection you need will depend on whether you complete your ReActivate in a pool or an open water dive site.

The Learning Materials You Need

Using ReActivate Touch (for tablets or mobile devices), you’ll immerse yourself in dive scenarios and make decisions that test your understanding of important dive safety concepts, dive planning essentials and problem management. Move through ReActivate at your own pace and delve deeper into topics when you need or want to.
